What is DreamWorks Birthday Shout Out?
DreamWorks Birthday Shout Out is a monthly on-air birthday greeting for DreamWorks viewers. It features photos of children celebrating their birthday each month.
Where is DreamWorks Birthday Shout Out available?
We are currently accepting entries across Asia and Australia.
How early in advance can I submit an entry for my child?
Entries must be submitted prior to your child’s birthday and can be submitted up to two months in advance. For example, if your child’s birthday is in December then the entry should be submitted in October or November.
How many times can I enter?
The selection of entries for DreamWorks Birthday Shout Out are made on a first come first served basis so only one entry should be made per birthday.
What type of photo of my child should I upload?
Strike a pose! Here are some easy tips to help you when taking a photo of your child:
- Photos should be high resolution at 1000 x 1000 pixels in .jpeg or .png format at a maximum size of 10MB
- Photo should be portrait style
- Your child’s face should be clearly visible and central to the frame
- No selfies
- Make sure only one child appears in your photo
- Photos must not display any personal information such as name, address or location
- Ensure brand names, products or logos are not featured on clothing or displayed in the background of the photo
How will I know if my child’s entry has been selected to appear on TV?
Entries will be selected on a first come first served basis. Selected entries will be included in our DreamWorks Birthday Shout Out shown on the channel throughout each month so there will be plenty of opportunity to tune in and see if your child is featured!
How are my photos and data used and how long is my data kept?
Any photos and personal information submitted will be used as part of DreamWorks Birthday Shout Out and to measure and enhance our services. For further information on NBCUniversal’s privacy practices, please see NBCUniversal Privacy Policy
Unless otherwise required by law and except where your details (e.g., photo and basic information) form part of a produced promotion, personal data will be deleted or anonymised within three months from submission.
What happens if I make a mistake on my entry?
You will have an opportunity to review the details of your entry prior to submission, but if you make a mistake you can submit another straight away and we will use your final entry.
